Our Wedding

We met each other in our most authentic form, Jess was harvesting and had been in the combine for 3 days. Sarah was in pajamas and muck boots. We spent a couple of hours getting to know each other and then spent the rest of the night laughing and singing along to the radio. From that night on we were practically inseparable. Sarah would drive from Springfield several times a week or Jess would drive to Springfield. Our favorite place became the place Jess popped the question (Twice in the same minute because apparently ‘absolutely’ isn’t a yes). Big Cedar Lodge has been our winter getaway for our entire relationship and has been a family favorite of the Heavner’s for years. Both of us absolutely think we are the luckiest people on Earth to have found each other and we are so excited to start building our dreams together!
